Well a bit harsh. But other than that, not. I see people using copy+paste with code examples and, even worse, configuration examples, and getting lots of trouble because of character mappings which result in invalid code / configurations. I see a lot of "use -Tascii" or "use LC_ALL=C xy" to get over that. Well, not for me, given how few people use my stuff. But nonetheless.
