Hello, I have wanted to be involved in the "tourism/hospitality" industry for a while. I especially want to work as a sort of travel agent for ecotravel/sustainable travel and volunteering travel. I have traveled quite a bit myself, and I would love to be able to help others do the same without harming local cultures and environments.
Since I'm going back to college to finish my degree I was curious what kind of training will lend itself to helping me get involved with this? Is travel agent training worth it? Are there agencies which offer internships, training, or anything like that? Thanks and take care all! Jessica
