EXPERIENCE RAINFORESTS WITH THE EXPERTS

Ever wanted to experience the magic of being in an ancient rainforest
and learn first hand how these wonderful ecosystems contribute to the
health of our planet?

Rainforest Rescue's annual Daintree Escape Tour in Far North
Queensland is just that opportunity and is happening over the Queen's
birthday weekend, June 6-9.

"The tour provides the chance to see the amazing variety of plant,
bird and animal life in the Daintree rainforest, parts of which are
still threatened by development. Rainforest Rescue's specialist guides
will take the tour into places of untouched beauty, home to the
Daintree's rare and endangered species," says Tour Organiser Alice
Moffett from Rainforest Rescue.

Of special interest will be the opportunity to view some of the
properties protected through the Daintree Buy Back & Protect Forever
Project. Nine properties in the lowland forests have been saved to
date, with at least one more to be added in 2008. These properties are
critical habitat to rare and endangered species such as the Cassowary
and Bennett's Tree Kangaroo.

"Everyone on the tour will have the chance to see how the collective
support of Australians is making a difference in protecting forever
the Daintree rainforests. They will also get the chance to plant a
rainforest tree themselves," says Alice.

The tour will include luxury accommodation at the Cape Tribulation
Resort & Spa close to the beach at Cape Tribulation, a Daintree River
cruise to view crocodiles and birds in their natural habitat and the
Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime tour at Mossman.

The expert guides will include experienced conservationists based in
the Daintree and land custodians. Their knowledge and experience of
the Daintree rainforests will make the tour an experience to remember.

"There is a growing awareness of the importance of rainforests to the
future of our planet and the Daintree Escape Tour will provide
participants with a unique opportunity of enjoying this spectacular
piece of Australia while contributing to its long-term protection.

"It is the perfect time to be visiting Far North Queensland - days are
around 25° and mainly sunny - providing a welcome break from winter
elsewhere in Australia. I would recommend an extra few days before or
after if people have time to explore the area even further', added Alice.

Apart from the tours, participants will have ample time to indulge in
4 star comforts at Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa amidst wild surrounds
with private rainforest views and easy access to Coconut Beach, as
well as enjoy fine cuisine at 'The Cape' and rejuvenate at the
stunning new day spa!

The cost of the tour is only $995 per person which includes three
nights' twin share accommodation, all tours and transfers. Airfares
and meals except breakfasts are additional. Major airlines have
regular flights into Cairns from most Australian capital cities.

Numbers are limited to provide the best personal experience for those
on the tour. For bookings, email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
