green.travel networkThe Blue Yonder (http://theblueyonder.com) would like to
devise a photography policy, a set of guidelines that a photographer should
adhere to especially pertaining to travel. Recently, many incidents has forced
us to make stop and ensure that this is done. This is something we are keen on
publishing, so that tour operators, travellers and policy makers formalise this
and practice responsible photography as well. We would first like to use this
space to discuss this policy, further we like to share it with all our
travellers, and later upload it on to our website as it evolves.

We are looking forward to your inputs based on experience, expertise as
travellers / hosts / photographers.
Where does one draw the line when it comes to people and culture, political
statements and symbolism..?
How should photographs be used..?
What is the ethical stands one must maintain..?
How far can you enter into a person's space ?

A heated debate is already going on our facebook discussion board. We are
looking forward to hearing your comments / opinions. Considering the interest
in the topic, probably all of us could develop this into an travel industry
standard.
