I had marked pkgsrc not to update scons and somebody pointed out that 4.11.1 is out, and is that ok. I commented in the ticket, but basically gpsd 3.27.5 builds ok with 4.11.1, and it looks like 4.11.1 is a bugfix for the bug that bothers us. So, anyone having trouble, I suggest you try with 4.11.1.
