This may be considered a non issue but we have noticed the following in
recent releases if TERM is set to vt100 or vt220
root@TSB-1650:~# cgps
curs_set(0) failed
root@TSB-1650:~#
It appears that this was introduced by commit:
50153e3e on 6th Feb 2026
Obviously simple fix is to use modern emulation such as xterm-256color
However we have people using old emulators that were set to vt200 which
used to work fine and now break unless emulation is updated
You may or may not care about this new 'feature' :D
