Hi, i noticed in your mail of 2017-10-28 that users responded to the privacy 
statements by doing settings that have a negative impact in their browser.
Now i noticed that your settings page is often just some web page, so why not 
combine the two, write a clear privacy statement and put the settings links in 
the same page so the users do not have to translate the privacy statements to 
settings. You can even go from there and mention the pro's and cons of the 
setting.
