My 2 cents, I think the original idea needs to be reviewed. A "save" feature, really? I don't think it's a feature that is needed, at all. Ok, if some people want it, fine. Maybe they can have an add-on if they want.
I think more focus on security, privacy, performance, stability, and customizability are far more important than this discussion of a "save" feature. It just seems like a silly feature to even have a discussion about.
