Thomas, The GeoMap legend issue is probably due to the height of your chart. Try the "Rental Revenue by Country" chart here: http://www.opengatesw.net/products/php/php-charts/demo/php-charts/index.php
You'll see it doesn't have the same issue for the legend. The API probably just tries to fit as it can while respecting the height and width requirements.
