You can't customize the tooltip contents, but you can disable the tooltips
(set the tooltip.trigger option to "none") and use "onmouseover" and
"onmouseout" event handlers to spawn and remove your own custom tooltips.
It would work something like this:
google.visualization.events.addListener(chart, 'onmouseover', function (e) {
// e.row and e.column are the row/column indices to look up the data
for the moused over point in the DataTable
// eg:
var value = data.getValue(e.row, e.column);
// spawn a tooltip containing whatever information you want here
});
google.visualization.events.addListener(chart, 'onmouseout', function (e) {
// remove the tooltip here
});
