Hi, When I recreate the example from search places <https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/place-search#try-it-yourself> on Google App Engine (my local machine), it doesn't work. The map is loaded but the stores are not returned and thus no icons are placed on the map. If I open the file directly using a browser (so the url is of the format - file:///......), it works. Same thing happens when i try to run the example - places search with a search box <https://google-developers.appspot.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/full/places-searchbox>. In this case, the auto-complete for the search box doesn't work and so the search itself doesn't work. If again I open the file directly in the browser (so the url is of the format - file:///......) it works.
