Thanks for your reply. I looked at your code, and I agree that it seems simpler.
The reason why I'm using 3 different images is to get an optimal quality. As you can see in your example, if you zoom in a lot (or out a lot for that matters), the image gets all "pixely". The map I'm working on will get zoom in real close by the visitors. Do you have any idea why setIcon would cause such a problem? Should I open a bug case?
