Version 3 (the topic of this Group) doesn't require a key. If you are
using Version 2, it would be better to post in the right Group at
http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-api/ but you will
definitely need to include a link to your map page.

There are a number of reasons why the key may fail, including a
malformed <script> tag.
