I'm wondering if it's possible to optimize the performance of html-embedded Street-View so that it runs smoothly on an iPad. If you open up http://datenmafia.org/misc/streetview.html in Safari on the iPad you'll notice that it's very sluggish. For comparison, watching a full-screen panorama from 360cities.net is very fast and smooth. Why is there such a big difference in performance? Is there a way to optimize Street View to make it a bit more responsive?
