I have been working on this tutorial http://code.google.com/apis/maps/articles/phpsqlsearch_v3.html for the past few days and i have had no trouble except when i search nothing happens. I am very new to MySQL and PHP one thing i have had a problem with is having the PHP code create the XML file. The tutorial says to do this "Call this PHP script from the browser to make sure it's producing valid XML" what does this mean exactly?? I open up that PHP file in the browser but all it does is download that same file. I am guessing it is suppose to download an XML file, but it does not. How do i fix this. Any help would be great. Thanks.
