First, I was playing around with some of the examples, and found one that
uses the mapTypes instead of ImageMapType.  This is also nice/ideal, because
the default map is never seen underneath.  Using that, it put a grid onto
the map that let me see the coordinates, and then it was just a matter of
figuring out the math equations to repeat the same images.

So, that part is DONE!  w00t!!

If anyone wants to help me out, I am moving on to figuring out how to keep
the map from scrolling north/south since those images don't work, and the
pins on the map don't carry that direction either.
