I'm trying to get functionality where users can somehow draw a route on the map with polylines. Right now I'm able to do that, but it's without regard for the streets, so it tends to look messy.
On Google Maps directions when you have a route on the map and you mouseover close to the route it shows a circle on the route that's "sticky" to the route. Could someone recommend to me how I would go about reproducing that effect? I think I could modify that to achieve what I'm after.
