Ben,

I have a refresh problem which occurs on the iPod Touch only (and
probably) iPhone. Here's how to reproduce:

1. Load the test map at http://www.garylittle.ca/map3.html
2. When the markers appear, click the "Criteria" button that appears
above the map.
3. At this point, the map disappears (the display property is set to
"none") and a secondary screen appears with a "Back to Map" button.
4. Click the "Back to Map" button. The map and all its markers
reappears as expected. No problem so far.
5. Click the "Criteria" button again, then click "Back to Map"
6. This time, the map reappears but the wrong tile briefly appears (it
is shifted out of position) and the markers are missing. In a second
or two the markers reappear and the correct tile appears. (On a
production map, I've seen situations where the markers don't reappear
at all.)
7. Repeat step 5. This time the map and markers reappear as expected.
Do it again and the delayed reaction mentioned in step 6 reoccurs.

What is going on? This is very repeatable... Some problem caused by
using display: none to toggle the display of the map on and off?
