You are setting an undocumented property
map.scrollwheel = false;
Have tried putting scrollwheel:false in the map constructor options
(myOptions) or using the documented method:
map.setOptions({scrollwheel: false});
Setting a property doesn't trigger any notification and may not have
any immediate effect.
