You have it right for your var latlng, specify the var point the same
way:

var point = new google.maps.LatLng(<?php echo $csv_lat;?>, <?php echo
$csv_long; ?>);

Also, you're using "map.addOverlay(new GMarker(point)); " which is now
how v3 does it.
