The short answer: Yes.  But I think that depends on what you mean by
"highlighting" the streets.  There are various ways of doing this (ie,
marker, polyline, polygon) so it depends on what kind of highlight
you're looking to do.  Ultimately, it shouldn't be difficult to
highlight certain areas on a map that are clickable to an url, but I'm
just not sure what kind of highlighting you're looking for.  Do you
have an example of what you'd like to do?
