As per this article <https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/53065/why-does-sudo-ask-for-a-password-in-terminal> and this article <https://askubuntu.com/questions/147241/execute-sudo-without-password> I would recommend try to modify /etc/sudoers and then try again to run 'sudo su' command to see if that fixes the issue or not? if not then provide me details regarding the operating system as this issue is related towards the operating system.
