Yes, but that is five months later and there were no serious updates to appengine since before last IO. By the way, there was very little of appengine in IO anyway, which is another indicator.
Leave alone new features, there are so many acknowledged bugs in GAE issue tracker being ignored for years that makes me doubt if we are dealing with serious product or not. Take for instance the following issue: https://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=10954&can=8&colspec=ID%20Type%20Component%20Status%20Stars%20Summary%20Language%20Priority%20Owner%20Log which means you can't run run queues on non primary modules. It just needs one xml change and even that is specified there, but for whole 9 months there is no one who could just apply that simple one line fix. Google cloud is definetely moving forward, it is just the fate of GAE is very unclear to me. Best, HG.
