I've also been trying to do some benchmark tests on F1/F2/F4 instance class, and i am seeing very little performance difference. the server tasks take the same time ... also sometimes F1 outperforms F4, i wonder why is that?! i was wondering what exactly is the relationship between the instance class and the number of instances, how do i control the settings that guarante the highest performance and the lowest? any ideas?
