Seriously though, I think I'm going to add the option in my app to
startup backend instance(s) that do something like this:
while (tasksAreSlackingOff() && haveMoreWork() &&
(!LifecycleManager.getInstance().isShuttingDown()) {
grabAJobToPickupSomeOfTheSlackFromThoseTaskSlackers();
saveState();
}
Better safe than sorry.
