I'm interested in using the XMPP Service for app to app communication. The main application will not be built on Google App Engine. Can the XMPP Service be used on its own without using the rest of App Engine?
How many users can the XMPP Service support? Basically I'm looking for a hosted XMPP Service that can scale to support 100,000s to millions of users.
