Thanks for that I have sorted that side of things but am struggling to get
the email into the datastore.
I am using this code
import logging, email
from google.appengine.ext import webapp
from google.appengine.ext.webapp.mail_handlers import InboundMailHandler
from google.appengine.ext.webapp.util import run_wsgi_app
from google.appengine.ext import db
class Greeting(db.Model):
content = db.StringProperty(multiline=False)
class LogSenderHandler(InboundMailHandler):
def receive(self, mail_message):
logging.info("Received a message from: " + mail_message.sender)
greeting = Greeting()
greeting.content = mail_message.subject
class Guestbook(webapp.RequestHandler):
def importsender(self):
greeting = Greeting()
greeting.put()
But do not get anything in the datastore or an error. Where am I going
wrong?
