Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. We do monitor the issue tracker
and we use it heavily in identifying issues and getting a feel for which
features are most requested. Though I read most of the issues in the
tracker, I don't always mark them, so I agree that we should be more active
in marking issues. I also haven't done a great job of updating the issue
tracker when an issue is resolved. The number of open issues which are
listed as new may be daunting but please know that we do use the issue
tracker. However, I do check it less frequently than the discussion group.
If there is an urgent issue, please post to the discussion group and feel
free to include the direct email addresses of Google people who you see here
regularly.
