Entertainment? I'm about as entertaining as a brick. > but I could not help but notice the hot pace in this tournament. Quite. The first couple of days had numerically pretty few entries, but of suprisingly high quality. Now that people are getting more comfortable with the problem we're starting to see more normal levels of activity (now up to 171 entries from 35 golfers). And the quality is improving equally rapidly! We now have 10 veterans and 3 beginners below BoB's first shot. It looks very likely that we'll be getting into the double digits before this is over, something that I was absolutely sure wouldn't happen. In fact, I even made a bet over it with the accursed Mr Champoux. An interesting pairing you didn't mention is pom and mtve, who (while now separated by a few positions) have been trading blows practically from the start. I'm sure that the growing mass of golfers in the 120-130 region will be having some fun in the coming days :-) [ Oh, if your programs fail in the big tests and you manage to create the same effect using a very small test, please send it to us for inclusion into a possible next version of the tests. ] -- Juho Snellman
