        Hmmm... I hear your complain, and find it not entierely unfounded.

        Let's see. I propose the following amendment to the calculation
of the y-index. For a hole, the computation of the y-index
remains the same, but the final score, if higher than 10,
is capped at 10. Ten is high enough to make one feel miserable
for a wee bit of time, but low enough not to screw the hapless
golfer for life.

        Marko, for example, would be down to -4.7, which is not bad
at all...

        (and Dave would be, uh, still at 5. Bad, I know, but I can't
do miracles  ;) )

        And, if we feel over-fancy, we could also inject some
moving averageness in there too...
