Since a week has gone by, let me try some less subtle techniques:
The Request: more referees are needed for the July TPR golf.
The Plea: please help referee the July TPR golf.
The Whine: can't I please get some help refereeing the July TPR golf?
The Threat: if I don't have some referees to hold me back,
there's no telling what kind of weird and unusual
holes and rules I might come up with!
