Hi everyone, Recently, people have suggested human parsable quotables about the meaning of life^H^H^H^Hgolf. I think it would be appropriate to join together as a community, and come up with a golf poem.
I have written the following, which parses: each %game, $pain and $suffering; study $more, sleep $less; and I'm using the following wordlist: split, study, log, sin, pop, push, map, reverse, sort, unpack, delete, each, exists, keys, values, close, die, print, format, read, seek, tell, select, tell, warn, write, pack, read, link, open, rename, stat, unlink, caller, continue, do, dump, exit, goto, last, next, redo, return, sub, caller, import, local, my reset, scalar, alarm, exec, fork, sleep, system, times, wait, no, package, require, use, bless, tie, use, accept, bind, connect, send, shutdown, socket, index, chomp, crypt, length, chr. Obviously you can use things like the range operater etc, to ensure we aren't just playing with undef variables. Bonus points if it prints: "Just Another Perl Golfer" I think Dave would be pleased (Dave?) to have a poem linked from PGAS :) I guess this, and the post-TPR{0,2} golfers will tide us over until the next one comes along.
