Fellow Gophers, the package image/png references the w3c spec for PNG. This spec has been updated this summer to include support for animated PNG. While animated GIF is already implemented in the stdlib, animated PNG is not. The feature itself can probably be implemented within Go compatibility guarantee.
What would be the proper way to get this going? A feature request? Will it be included automatically w/ next release? Should i open a github issue?
