I'll take a wild guess and use this package for the examples:
github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/ethclient/gethclient

Option 1: check the version control system used for this package, e.g the
github repo, for tagged versions and v2/v3 branches. e.g
https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/tags or clone the repo and check
`git tag`

Option 2: use pkg.go.dev, e.g
https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/ethclient/gethclient?tab=versions
for the package I mentioned.

Option 3: just do a `go get -u` run to update dependencies. If there's a
newer version available, then it'll get used.

These are probably enough for whatever you need it for.
