I don't think such a video has ever been the standard. Occasionally, individual community members gave talks which where titled something like that. But it's not something that's centrally organized to happen nor has it happened consistently enough to be a tradition.
Feel free to record one and publish it though. You can work towards actually *making* it a tradition.
