The decision outcome of whether to adopt generics or not adopt generics is _binary_, hence why I knowingly use "ignore" and it means exactly what it says. Kinda Sophie's choice, if you will. The process of reaching the decision, OTOH, does not ignore arguments/opinions. That I've never said and I don't know why it would be inferred by anyone. Last attempt to clarify: You cannot please all the parties at the same time with this kind of decision, one must realize/admit that's a non-goal.
