I agree that as a language proposal this requires more description.
To me the use case is not clear.  I think I understand the basic idea,
but I do not understand the specific problems that it solves.  For
example, it would help to see a problem statement, how it is written
in Go today, and it would be written using this proposal.

I also don't understand how to implement this.  What is the
representation of a value of type `T?` for all the different kinds of
type `T` supported by Go.
