I didn't realize that Aram's original message was sent to both golang-dev and golang-nuts. My reply earlier today (quoted below) only went to golang-dev but is important to have on golang-nuts too.
I am sending this message to golang-nuts bcc golang-dev in an attempt to unify the two discussions into one discussion in one place. I picked golang-nuts because that is roughly a superset of golang-dev. To everyone reading, please try to reply to golang-nuts only (not golang-dev), so we can have a single conversation.
