Oh this is one of the problems that is really time consuming. I'm not sure 
if this is related, but I've never had this kind of problems before +1.7.

@Dave, I've tried your "quick-fix" but no luck ...

$ go get google.golang.org/grpc
# cd /opt/gocode/src/golang.org/x/net; git pull --ff-only
