I ask explicit permission for two reasons:

1. Just to be polite.
2. Because RSS or not, I am still redistributing content I do not own.

Some blogs specifically mention a licence for their content, but sending a
simple email just to be sure is not a bad thing.

Speaking about Google, does someone know who to contact to get permission to
add the feed of the official Go blog (blog.golang.org) ?
