Bingo! I removed --verbose from the cmd line and from the file
scdaemon.conf. A test on shell show now:
/usr/local/libexec/scdaemon --debug-all --verbose --verbose --server

And also decryption with the OpenPGP card works fine after providing the
card's PIN:
