Enigmail is an extension for Thunderbird and Mozilla mail. It uses GnuPG for its cryptographic processing. It conforms to RFC2 4880 and 3156. That said, you shouldn't have any trouble. However, I've not used the mail extensions in PGP Desktop, so I cannot make any claim to compatibility. You may wish to ask on the PGP-Basics Yahoo list. There are a greater percentage of PGP users there. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PGP-Basics/ -John -- John P.
