is there a gnupg option to view the passphrase while it is being entered? (in pgp 2.x there was one, 'ShowPass = on')
if not, can it be considered as a future feature? as passphrases become longer, it would be helpful ;-) and, alone at the privacy of one's own system, it shouldn't be any more of a security risk ...
