Regarding the Mumble, you should try to use it as an IRC channel: maintain presence and use it whenever it makes sense. The regular sessions should be well planned and last no more than 30 minutes: no bullshit, as such meetings tend to last longer and people don't know how to say thank you and goodbye. Note that a preliminary pad and subsequent report to the list is also important. So you should prepare the meetings, and focus on *few* specific points that require attention and action. If there's a doubt on any point, leave it for later and mark it as important: you know it needs more work to reach resolution.
