If it were easy the Windows version would not have been dropped;-)
I still use old non-portable Windows versions but don't expect any kind of support, including bug fixes. Eventually Windows will change in a way that breaks it, but there are ways around that. I run Lotus 1-2-3 Version 5 for Windows 3.1 in DOSBox on Linux and in XP elsewhere;-) But it does not do everything Gnumeric does -- just the things I have been using if for for twenty-some years. ----- Forwarded message from Victor Westmann via gnumeric-list <[email protected]> ----- Date: Wed, 25 Jul 2018 11:10:34 -0700 From: Victor Westmann via gnumeric-list <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Windows build Hi there, I am new to this list. I would love to use Gnumeric but I use a Windows platform. I am not a developer but I am good at following step-by-step and instructions in general. Do you guys know if it is too tricky or complicated to generate a Gnumeric build for Windows? I got very impressed by all the formulas and features of Gnumeric.
