I also has some applications that use emf for preview under window, I
suppose the norm is to replay the emf inside the application itself
so that it is possible to integrate the preview (eg. zoom, hot-spot).
If gnumeric is not going to host a emf window itself, then it will
make little difference if pdf instead of emf is being used for preview
purpose.
