That’s good news.
The WebKit bug you cited reports that the cause is WOFF fonts. Are there any in
your fontconfig_bad? If that’s indeed the problem a more lasting fix would be
to exclude them via fonts.conf (~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf per user,
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf or a conf.d file globally; for a flatpak it would go in
~/.var/app/org.gnucash.GnuCash/config/fontconfig/fonts.conf):
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "urn:fontconfig:fonts.dtd”>
<fontconfig>
<selectfont>
<rejectfont>
<glob>*.woff</glob>
<glob>*.woff2</glob>
</rejectfont>
</selectfont>
</fontconfig>
That will protect the font cache from acquiring woff bundles and make the
problem recur.
