I've updated my FTfunds.pm by hand.

Does anyone know what the right way of updating F::Q is when just one module has changed? Or how to force re-installation of F::Q so
the new module gets installed?
Changed (or added) modules are not usually available until a full F::Q release is pushed to CPAN. What some users might do is pull the changed module from Github using wget or curl to replace the failing module on their computer (for FTfunds.pm that would be https://raw.githubusercontent.com/finance-quote/finance-quote/refs/heads/master/lib/Finance/Quote/FTfunds.pm ).

Occasionally interim releases are uploaded to CPAN. These would need to be installed using something like "cpan BPSCHUCK/Finance-Quote-1.69_01.tar.gz". In your case you would have to look for "Finance-Quote-1.70_0?.tar.gz" since the change to FTfunds.pm was merged after the v1.70 release. You would be able to check if an interim release exists by looking at the list of files in https://www.cpan.org/authors/id/B/BP/BPSCHUCK/

On a related note, it appears MorningstarUK has begun using JavaScript based anti-webscraping. Unfortunately it will likely be dropped from F::Q.
