Never heard of that happening in all my years using GnuCash, so I don't know 
what to suggest. You will probably have to provide more detail than simply 
saying that all reconciliation is lost, because it's difficult to imagine how 
that would happen. 

Also, I haven't encountered the anti-virus glitch myself (although I am still 
admittedly on 5.12 or so), so I can only report what others have suggested. 
I'll note that security patches for Windows 10 have been closed for several 
months now, and it's in your interest to find an OS that is being maintained. 
But that's an aside, really. 

Which also underscores the reason for replying-all on the conversations: 
keeping the traffic on the list means you get more eyes on your issue, and 
those eyes can help get to the bottom of the problem.
