OK, I realized you need to click on the "Select Subaccounts" button when
specifying the tax code for a parent. This definitely solves the TXF
reporting problem. However, the report lists all detailed
transactions. Is there anyway to just show the $ sum for each tax code
without detailed transactions in a TXF report? Thanks again for your help!

While you can define a tax code on a parent account in GNC, the $
amount (total sum of children's accounts) won't show up in the TXF
report. Is there anyway to have the parent's amount shown in the TXF
report? Or do I have to define the same tax code on every child or
grand child account? Thanks a lot!
